Timefragment operates The Lydian Gambit, a deterministic strategy game played in the browser, with optional prized matches settled on the XRP Ledger. By connecting a wallet or joining a match you accept these terms.
Match outcomes are decided entirely by the players' decisions on a fully deterministic engine — no dice, no random draws, no hidden information. Every finished match produces a hash-verified replay that anyone can audit move by move.
A prized seat costs a fixed entry fee, published before you sign anything. The fee is the price of the service — organisation, matchmaking, arbitration and ranking — and is signed by you, from your own wallet. It is not a stake: no part of your fee is ever played against another player's money.
Prizes are fixed amounts owed by the house, published in advance. Before a prized match reveals, the house locks the prize in conditional escrows on the XRP Ledger; tournament prize pools are additionally locked as a public reserve before the first match. Settlement is executed by the ledger itself. Prize amounts never depend on how much any player paid.
The service is non-custodial. You sign every transaction from your own wallet; we never hold your funds, keys or recovery phrases, and we will never ask for them. Verify every transaction — amount and destination — in your wallet before signing.
The service states clearly which XRP Ledger network a match settles on (testnet or mainnet). Testnet tokens have no monetary value. On-chain transactions are irreversible; the ledger's own rules and fees apply.
One player, one identity. Colluding, exploiting bugs, automating play in prized matches, or interfering with the service may lead to disqualification from prized play and forfeiture of pending prizes at the house's reasonable discretion. Ranked results between accounts controlled by the same person are void.
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and legally permitted to use skill-based prized services and hold digital assets. You are responsible for compliance with your local laws and for any taxes on prizes you receive.
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, the house's total liability for any claim is limited to the entry fee of the match concerned. The house is not liable for losses caused by your wallet, your connection, or the XRP Ledger network itself.
Fees and prize schedules may change for future matches — never for a match already confirmed. These terms may be updated; the current version is always published at this address. Continued use after an update is acceptance.
